This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you download and interact with the Moovick app.

PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
When you use or interact with our app, your personal data is processed.
Personal data is information about factual or personal circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This primarily includes information that allows conclusions to be drawn about your identity, for instance, your name, your phone number, your address or your e-mail address.
The statistical data that we collect, for example, once you visit our app which can't be directly linked to your person doesn't fall into the term personal data.
What data is processed and why?
When downloading and installing as well as using the app, your personal data is processed
- When you download and install the app
In order to be able to download and install our app from Google Play Store, you must first register for a user account with the Play Store and conclude a corresponding usage agreement with them. We have no influence on this, whatsoever, we are not a party to such a user contract.
When you download and install the app, necessary information such as your user name, your e-mail address, the customer number of your account, the time of the download and the individual device identification number is transferred to the app store. We have no influence on the data collected here and are not responsible for it. We only process this provided pertaining to the downloading and installing of the app on your mobile end device.
- When you use the app
If you simply open the app without interacting with it or entering any data, we do not collect personal data, with the exception of that data that your device transmits to enable you to call it up. This is a required technical process, and the following data is transmitted:
- Your device type
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Content of the request (specific page)
- Access status/HTTP status code
- Amount of data transferred in each case
Your IP address is deleted or anonymized after use. In terms of anonymization, the IP addresses are changed in a way that the person concerned cannot be identified or can no longer be identified. The data in technical logs are evaluated by us in an anonymized form in order to further improve our app and website and make them more user-friendly. Furthermore, it enables us to find and correct errors in a quicker manner.
Data processing is necessary so that you can inform yourself about the contents of our app. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation. The processing of said data is essential for the provision of the content. Or else, you would not be able to use our app as desired.
- When you register to the app
When you register to use the Moovick app we collect the following personal data from you. We need this data in order to adequately fulfil the contract between you and us and to comply with our legal obligations. Without this data, we may not be able to offer you all the services you request.
a) User Account Information: When you register a Moovick user account, we need certain information such as your email address and password. Alternatively, you can log in to the Moovick app using your social media accounts such as Facebook, Google or LinkedIn, etc.
b) Profile data: In order to use certain features of the Moovick app (e.g. bookings) we may ask you to provide additional information. This may include your:
- address
- telephone number
- profile picture
- gender
- date of birth
- full name
- short introduction
c) Data to verify your identity: To help create and maintain a trusted environment, we may collect identity verification information such as:
photographs of a government identification card passport national identity card or driver's license (where permitted by applicable law) or other authentication information
d) Payment information: In order to use certain features of the Moovick platform (for example, bookings), we may ask you to provide certain payment information such as your bank account or credit card details to enable us to process payments.
e) Communication with Moovick and other members: When you contact Moovick’s customer service or use the Moovick app to communicate with other members, Moovick collects the following data:
- the content of the message
- the time and language of the message
f) Advertising details: When you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address will be used for our own advertising purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link provided in the newsletter. We use your e-mail address exclusively to send you our newsletter for our advertising purposes.
What permissions are requested?
For some functions, our app must be able to access certain services and data on your mobile device. Following are the permissions Moovick app may request and the functions for which these permissions are required. These permissions can be subsequently changed or revoked.
Messages: To be able to communicate with other service providers or clients on Moovick, you will be asked to give Moovick permission to send and view messages.
Push notifications: If you give Moovick permission for push notifications, you will receive notifications about services, new messages as well as occasional promotions and news at Moovick.
Photos and Camera: If you grant Moovick the required permissions, the app can access your photo gallery as well as the camera of your mobile device. This feature is used to complete your profile and describe your services or tasks in more detail.
Location: If you grant Moovick permission to access your location, the app can personalize your searches and provide you with services based on your location.
Calendar: If you give Moovick permission to access your calendar, the app can read your calendar events and details. You can also sync your calendar to your task days.
Will my data be passed on?
The data collected by Moovick will only be passed on to third parties if it is vital to process a contract or to provide technical functionality of the app. It could also be passed on to third parties if there are any other legal grounds for passing on the data.
When will my data be deleted?
We will only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we have collected it, including for the purpose of complying with legal, accounting or legal requirements.
Your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. Furthermore, storage can take place due to legal retention periods. If such statutory storage periods do not exist or have expired, the data will be stored for the purpose of fulfilling and billing the contract and proving the correct fulfilment until the expiry of liability periods (limitation periods) and then deleted.
To determine the time period for retaining your data, the following criteria are considered:
a) the nature of the personal data;
b) the legal obligations of the Company;
c) the purpose of the processing;
d) the risks to the Company and the data subjects that may result from the storage of the relevant data
What are your rights?
As personal data subjects, you have the following rights, as defined and specified in the GDPR and the applicable national laws and regulations:
- The right of access, i.e. the right to obtain information about the data we have stored about you;
- The right to demand correction in the event of an inaccurate registration or subsequent change;
- The right to request deletion or - if storage obligations exist - the restriction of the processing of data is no longer necessary for the said purpose. Please note that if you request the deletion of your personal data, we may retain some of your personal information for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud detection and prevention and enhanced security.
- To obtain data provided by you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
- The right to object, if the processing of your data is based on a legitimate interest/against the use for advertising purposes or is against a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling;
- The right to withdraw your consent;
- Finally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if you have doubts as to whether your data is being processed in conformity with data protection legislation and if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the legal provisions.
